Abstract

This article explores the essence and significance of national values in Uzbekistan, emphasizing their role in shaping cultural identity, fostering social cohesion, and guiding moral and ethical behavior. National values, rooted in centuries-old traditions, customs, and historical experiences, serve as a foundation for the unity and continuity of Uzbek society. The study examines core values such as respect for elders, hospitality, patriotism, family solidarity, and the preservation of cultural heritage. It also highlights the dynamic nature of these values, showing how they adapt to modern realities while maintaining their traditional roots. The article analyzes how these values are reflected in education, public discourse, and daily life, and discusses their importance in the context of globalization and national development. The research underscores that preserving and promoting Uzbekistan’s national values is vital for maintaining cultural identity and ensuring sustainable social progress.
