Abstract

The integration of 5G technology in the healthcare sector promises to revolutionize patient care by providing high bandwidth, ultra-low latency, and energy-efficient communication. These capabilities enable faster data transmission, support for a vast number of connected devices, and enhanced real-time responsiveness - critical for applications like telemedicine, telesurgery, and remote patient monitoring. As hospitals increasingly adopt smart infrastructure and IoT tools, the role of 5G becomes central to handling big data, improving access to medical imaging, and ensuring the reliability of AI-driven health analytics. This transformation is already underway in some countries, laying the foundation for more personalized, efficient, and cost-effective healthcare systems.
