Abstract

This article examines the influence of social networks on the grammar of the English language. In recent years, the rapid development of digital communication platforms such as social media has significantly affected the way people use language in everyday communication. Social networks encourage the use of shortened forms, informal expressions, emojis, and simplified grammatical structures. The study analyzes how these changes influence traditional English grammar and whether they contribute to the evolution of the language or lead to the deterioration of grammatical norms. The article also considers the role of social networks in shaping modern communication and language practices among young people and language learners. The findings suggest that while social networks often promote informal and simplified grammar, they also contribute to linguistic creativity and the natural development of the English language.
