DIFFERENCES AND SIMILARITIES OF CASE IN UZBEK AND ENGLISH

This article shows the grammatical concept of case in Uzbek and English, focusing on their structural and functional similarities and differences, and their implications for communication. By analyzing the case systems of both languages, the research reveals that while both utilize case to denote grammatical roles, Uzbek has a more complex system with more cases compared to the simpler English case system. These differences reflect broader linguistic and cognitive dimensions in how speakers of each language construct meaning.
