Abstract

Agriculture is one of the most important sectors of the global economy, providing food security and supporting the livelihoods of billions of people. In recent years, technological advancements have significantly transformed agricultural practices, leading to the emergence of precision agriculture. Among these innovations, drone technologies have become an essential tool for monitoring crops, collecting field data, improving resource management, and increasing productivity. This article examines the application of drone technologies in agriculture, their advantages, challenges, and future prospects. The study highlights how drones equipped with advanced sensors, cameras, and artificial intelligence algorithms contribute to efficient crop management, disease detection, irrigation planning, and yield estimation. The findings demonstrate that drone-based monitoring systems enhance agricultural efficiency, reduce operational costs, and support sustainable farming practices.
