Abstract

Gear manufacturing is a critical component in mechanical engineering, as gears are integral to the transmission of power and motion in machines. With the increasing demand for higher precision, efficiency, and durability, gear manufacturing processes have evolved significantly. This article discusses various methods of gear manufacturing, including traditional and advanced techniques. The focus is on the processes of cutting, casting, forging, and powder metallurgy, analyzing their advantages, limitations, and specific applications in modern engineering.
