Maqolada tirik organizmlarning hujayraviy tuzilishi, hujayraning asosiy komponentlari va ularning funksional ahamiyati yoritiladi. Prokaryot va eukaryot hujayralari tuzilishi hamda ularning o‘ziga xos xususiyatlari tahlil qilinadi. Shuningdek, hujayra nazariyasining rivojlanishi va zamonaviy mikroskopiya usullari yordamida hujayra ichki tuzilishini o‘rganishdagi yutuqlar ko‘rib chiqiladi.
