Abstract

Financial crises often make existing inequalities worse, especially in financial availability. Women, in many societies, have faced some barriers related to financial resources, credits and investment opportunities, which limited their participation to the economy. This research learns the impact of financial crises on gender inequality and the economic consequences of excluding women from the financial area.
