Abstract

In the era of globalization, the accurate translation of economic terminology has become essential for effective international communication in trade, finance, and investment. This study investigates the challenges associated with the machine translation of economic terms and proposes strategies for overcoming them. The research explores the linguistic and functional characteristics of economic terminology and evaluates the performance of various machine translation paradigms, including Rule-Based Machine Translation (RBMT), Statistical Machine Translation (SMT), Neural Machine Translation (NMT), and Large Language Model (LLM)-based systems.
