Abstract

This article examines the current state and development trends of Uzbekistan’s economy within the context of ongoing structural reforms. The study analyzes key macroeconomic indicators, including GDP growth, inflation dynamics, monetary policy, and foreign trade performance. Particular attention is paid to industrial modernization, the expansion of the private sector, and the evolving role of the services industry as a major driver of economic growth. The paper also highlights the challenges faced by the agricultural sector, focusing on water scarcity, irrigation inefficiencies, and the need for technological upgrading. Furthermore, the article discusses foreign investment trends and Uzbekistan’s increasing integration into international economic cooperation frameworks. The analysis concludes that despite persistent challenges, Uzbekistan possesses significant long-term economic potential and is well-positioned to strengthen its role as a regional economic hub.
