Abstract

This paper discusses the issues of surveying support for drilling and blasting operations in open-pit mining. The focus is on the importance of surveying measurements in the design and execution of drilling and blasting operations, ensuring safety, efficient use of mineral resources, and environmental protection. The methods and technologies used for monitoring drilling parameters, blast holes, and evaluating blast results are presented. The procedure for maintaining surveying documentation is described, and possible errors and methods for minimizing them are analyzed. The paper emphasizes the need for a comprehensive approach to surveying support at all stages of the production process, utilizing modern geoinformation systems and equipment.
