Abstract

This paper analyzes Uzbekistan’s accession process to the World Trade Organization (WTO) and evaluates the key opportunities and challenges associated with this step. It explains how WTO membership may influence the country’s trade policy, industrial competitiveness, investment environment, and marketing development. The study highlights expected advantages such as increased foreign market access, legal reforms, and improved business conditions, while also noting challenges including stronger import competition and complex policy adjustments.
