Abstract

This scientific article is devoted to the comparative analysis of the grammatical, morphological, and semantic structures of the tense category in Uzbek and German verbs. The study investigates the mechanisms of tense expression, their structural and functional properties, and the paradigmatic role of tense within the language system, as well as systematic differences between the two languages based on comparative-typological linguistics. The article scientifically substantiates the similarities and differences in the means of expressing tense in both languages.
