The advancement of digital technologies has revolutionized the field of auditing, enhancing its efficiency through automation, real-time data analytics and advanced risk assessment tools. This paper examines the impact of digitalization on audit effectiveness, focusing on key innovations such as AI (artificial intelligence), RPA (robotic process automation), machine learning, and cloud computing. Using digital tools, auditors will be able to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance while reducing human errors and fraud risks. Additionally, predictive analytics and continuous auditing facilitate proactive risk identification and regulatory adherence. However, there are some challenges such as cybersecurity threats, data integrity concerns, and the need for specialized technical skills must be addressed to maximize the benefits of digitalization in auditing.
