THE CURRENT STATE OF LEGISLATION ON SUBSOIL RESOURCES OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN: ANALYSIS OF THE NEW EDITION OF THE LAW

The study aims to analyze changes in the legal regulation of subsoil use in Uzbekistan, focusing on property rights and the transformation of the payment system. The methodology is based on a comparative analysis of the previous and updated versions of the Subsoil Law. The analysis reveals significant expansion and clarification of the regulatory framework, including the separation of property rights for minerals and technogenic mineral formations, as well as the introduction of a differentiated payment system. The practical significance lies in enhancing the sector's investment appeal and promoting sustainable subsoil use.
