Ushbu maqola gender zo‘ravonlikning huquqiy asoslarini tahlil qilishga bag‘ishlangan. Solishtirma-huquqiy tahlil usuli asosida gender tenglik va zo‘ravonlikka qarshi xalqaro konvensiyalar hamda O‘zbekiston qonunchiligidagi asosiy huquqiy mexanizmlar o‘rganiladi. Tadqiqot natijalari gender tenglikni ta’minlashda qonunchilikning roli muhim bo‘lsa-da, uni samarali amalga oshirish uchun institutsional islohotlar va huquqiy ongni oshirish zarurligini ko‘rsatadi. Xalqaro tajribalar asosida maqolada O‘zbekistonda gender zo‘ravonlikni oldini olish bo‘yicha qonunchilikni takomillashtirish va huquqni muhofaza qiluvchi organlar faoliyatini kuchaytirish zarurligi ta’kidlanadi.
