The integration of digital tools into English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms has gained considerable momentum in recent decades, yet empirical evidence of its impact across diverse learner populations remains limited. This study investigates the effects of systematic digital tool integration — encompassing Learning Management Systems (LMS), mobile-assisted language learning (MALL) applications, AI-driven feedback platforms, and collaborative web tools — on learner engagement and language proficiency in EFL contexts. Using a mixed-methods research design, 148 participants from secondary and tertiary educational institutions were exposed to a twelve-week digitally enhanced instructional programme. The study concludes that context-sensitive, pedagogically grounded digital integration — rather than unreflective technology adoption — yields the most substantial language learning outcomes.
