The study highlights major drug production regions and trafficking routes, with particular attention to Central Asia as a strategic transit zone. Furthermore, the article evaluates international legal frameworks and cooperation mechanisms aimed at combating illicit drug trafficking. Special emphasis is placed on the national policies and strategies of Uzbekistan in addressing drug-related threats. The research also explores modern approaches, including the use of artificial intelligence and data analysis in crime prevention. The findings suggest that an effective response to transnational drug threats requires a comprehensive approach combining legal, technological, and socio-economic measures at both national and international levels.
