Limfa tugunlari inson immun tizimining eng muhim “biologik filtrlari” hisoblanadi. Ular organizmga kirib keladigan patogenlar — bakteriya, virus yoki boshqa begona moddalarga qarshi birinchi javobni shakllantiradi. Infeksion kasalliklar dunyo bo‘yicha eng keng tarqalgan va inson salomatligiga katta xavf soluvchi omillardan biri hisoblanadi. Shu sababli limfa tugunlarining mikroskop ostidagi o‘zgarishlarini chuqur o‘rganish nafaqat nazariy jihatdan qiziqarli, balki amaliy ahamiyatga ham ega.Ushbu maqolada limfa tugunlarining gistologik tuzilishi, infektsiyalar vaqtida yuz beradigan morfologik va immunologik o‘zgarishlar, shuningdek, zamonaviy immunogistokimyoviy usullar yordamida ularni aniqlash imkoniyatlari yoritiladi.
