This article is dedicated to the comprehensive study of somatic vocabulary within the realm of English and Uzbek paremiology. Somatic lexemes—words related to parts of the human body—play a crucial role in the formation of metaphorical and idiomatic expressions that are deeply embedded in a culture's linguistic and cognitive framework. The analysis of such vocabulary in proverbs and sayings provides valuable insight into the way each language conceptualizes the human body in relation to emotions, behavior, morality, and social norms.
