OCCASIONALISM AND RELATED PHENOMENA: A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS

This article examines the terminological field surrounding occasionalism - neologism, potentialism, archaism and vulgarism - on the basis of comparative analysis. The definition, distinguishing features and features of manifestation of each phenomenon in the Uzbek language are consistently analyzed. As a result of the study, the specific linguistic status of occasionalism is determined and its place within the lexical system is determined.
