THE ROLE OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE IN THE OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY

The oil and gas industry is one of the most globalized sectors of the modern economy. Professionals in this field often work in international teams and communicate with specialists from different countries. In this context, the English language has become the main means of professional communication. The purpose of this article is to analyze the role of the English language in the oil and gas industry. The study focuses on the use of English in international cooperation, technical documentation, scientific research, and professional education. The results show that English plays a significant role in ensuring effective communication, improving safety standards, and facilitating knowledge exchange among professionals in the oil and gas sector.
